-
Inadequate
walk way in attic and/or platform to
mechanical equipment. Code
requires 30
inches of head clearance, a 24 inch wide solid walk way with no
obstructions,
and a 30 inch deep solid platform in front of the equipment.
- Floor
decking in the attic is not properly
secured in place, with at least one area where stepping on the end of a
board
can result in the flooring popping up.
- Recommend
sealing/fire stopping all open chases
in attic down to living areas below, to comply with current industry
standards.
- Observed
a hole in the sheetrock where plumbing
lines pass through the wall, beneath one or more sinks.
