Your Home Inspection Report
Your home inspection report will be a detailed and in most cases
lengthy (the older and more worn the property, the longer it will be)
document that is illustrated with diagrams and photographs and emailed
to you in PDF format. The inspection itself usually takes a few hours,
while writing the report ALWAYS takes much longer. For this reason, I
try to limit myself to one inspection per day, and I always try to
schedule them in the morning, to allow myself plenty of time to write
the report in the afternoon.
I always try to finish the report the same day, usually
in the evening, but I always ask my clients to give me approximately 24
hours, just to be sure there are no unforeseen delays. If I do the
inspection on Friday, you will usually receive it by Saturday, and most
often, by late Friday night.
If there are unusual circumstances, I will, of course, work with you to meet your needs, whatever they are.
Your report belongs to you, and I will happily email it
to you and to any one you request, if you supply the needed email
addresses. However, if your agent asks for a copy and I do not have
your permission, I will not send it. The permission form is part of the
Inspection Agreement that I will email to you before the inspection.
Just fill it out with the proper email addresses and return it to me at
the time of the inspection. The report will be emailed to all you
request.
Thanks again for letting Tex-Pro handle your home
inspection needs.
